Astro Bot: All Lost Galaxy Portal Locations Revealed

Mar 14,2025 Author: Zoe

Dive into the vibrant world of Astro Bot, and you'll uncover a hidden galaxy brimming with adventure: the Lost Galaxy! This secret area, home to ten challenging worlds, is only accessible through cleverly concealed portals scattered throughout the main game. Each portal is tucked away within a specific level, sometimes early on, sometimes right at the end—requiring keen observation and a bit of exploration to find.

Ready to embark on this hidden quest? This guide reveals the exact locations of each portal and how to unlock them.

Where Are the Lost Galaxy Portals in Astro Bot?

Look for a distinctive swirly icon next to the bot and puzzle piece counts when selecting a level. Its presence indicates a hidden Lost Galaxy portal within that stage. Let's explore each location:

Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall flanked by four lit torches. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. The wall will then open, revealing the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, you'll spot a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug enemy. Proceed past it to a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it, and aim towards the icy statue at the platform's edge. Release the pig to shatter the statue. Backtrack, flip over the ladybug, bounce to the platform above, and perform a charged spin attack to access the room containing the portal.

After defeating Captain Pincher, look where his claw is embedded in the ground. A glowing light indicates a spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to uncover a hidden room with treasure and the portal.

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles. Shrink yourself and ride a bubble to a branch above the bot (you might need to switch bubbles). From there, navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

At the level's end, turn right to an area with falling jewels. A bounce pad leads to a hidden portal. Activate a trap, then find two hidden switches to open the pathway.

This is the most challenging portal. Obtain the pufferfish power-up and backtrack to an area near the start with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug towards the floating area, bounce on it, activate the pufferfish, and use Astro's hover to reach the platform. Use motion controls to cut bamboo surrounding the portal until it activates (requires circling the perimeter).

Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp
