Astra Yao of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 has been given a dramatic narrative short film

Zenless Zone Zero shines a spotlight on Astra Yao with a new story event, offering players a glimpse into her past. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) continues to expand the game's lore, this time focusing on the popular singer and part-time on-air support.

A new animated short delves into Astra Yao's history, showcasing her participation in a benefit concert held to commemorate a devastating cavernous disaster. Following a tense encounter with a journalist, the narrative shifts to reveal impactful events from her past.

Astra Yao is featured prominently in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5, while Evelyn Chevalier takes center stage in the second.

The 1.5 update also brings the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation is delivered directly to players' in-game mail.

Joining the roster is Agent Astra Yao (Air, Support), a powerful new S-rank agent. Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao excels as a support agent, restoring ally HP and providing substantial damage boosts. Her abilities facilitate more frequent attack chains and quick assists, significantly increasing the squad's damage output.
