As you progress through the game, you'll encounter multiple quest chains where Naoe or Yasuke can get to know potential allies. Some of these interactions will include flirty dialogue or hints of deeper feelings, leaving it to the player to decide whether to pursue a romantic path.
The game makes it easy to identify romantic dialogue options with a heart icon next to the choices that will advance the romance. To deepen your relationship, continue selecting these options. Missing out on a flirty option early on meant that when Naoe later tried to advance the relationship, Gennojo rejected the advance due to that prior choice. Thus, keeping your romantic options open during these significant moments can be beneficial, as you never know who might capture your heart later in the game.
