Both protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, have their own romantic paths. Players have the freedom to decide whether these relationships will be fleeting or long-lasting, even with canon mode activated.
How To Romance Another Character in Assassin's Creed Shadows
Initiating a romantic connection in *Assassin's Creed Shadows* is straightforward. As you progress through the game, you'll encounter multiple quest chains where Naoe or Yasuke can get to know potential allies. Some of these interactions will include flirty dialogue or hints of deeper feelings, leaving it to the player to decide whether to pursue a romantic path.
The game makes it easy to identify romantic dialogue options with a heart icon next to the choices that will advance the romance. To deepen your relationship, continue selecting these options. For instance, during my playthrough, an early decision with Gennojo affected later interactions. Thus, keeping your romantic options open during these significant moments can be beneficial, as you never know who might capture your heart later in the game.
