Amazon's acquisition of James Bond creative control has ignited a firestorm of speculation: Who will be the next 007? Jeff Bezos' X/Twitter poll revealed a clear frontrunner amidst suggestions of Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson: Henry Cavill.

Cavill's surge in popularity stems from widespread fan support, fueled by his established presence in projects like Superman and The Witcher. His potential casting is further amplified by his involvement in Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 project. Interestingly, Cavill previously auditioned for Casino Royale (2006), a performance lauded as "tremendous" by director Martin Campbell, despite ultimately losing the role to Daniel Craig due to his age.
