Alienware's high-end gaming monitor just became even more tempting this week. The 32" Alienware AW3225QF 4K QD OLED gaming monitor is now on sale for $899.99 after a $300 instant discount, with free shipping included. If you're in the market for a top-tier 4K gaming monitor, this one deserves serious consideration.
The Alienware AW3225QF made its debut at CES 2024 and stands out as one of Dell’s only two OLED monitors to offer true 4K resolution paired with an OLED panel—the other being the 27" Alienware AW2725Q released earlier this year. This display features Samsung's advanced QD OLED technology, which delivers superior brightness compared to standard OLED panels while preserving the near-instantaneous response time, infinite contrast ratio, and perfect black levels that OLEDs are known for.
This monitor is HDR True Black 400 certified and capable of reaching up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also offers a factory-calibrated 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamut, a deep 1700R curvature, a lightning-fast 240Hz refresh rate, and NVIDIA G-Sync certification for tear-free gameplay.
The AW3225QF comes packed with modern connectivity options. It includes two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), one DisplayPort 1.4 input, and all support 4K resolution at up to 240Hz. Additional ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for peripherals and a single USB Type-C port for charging devices. Dell backs this premium monitor with a comprehensive three-year warranty that even covers burn-in issues—something not commonly found in standard display warranties.
It's important to note that driving a 4K display at high frame rates demands a powerful GPU. A 4K monitor contains over twice as many pixels as a QHD display. To enjoy smooth gameplay at resolutions up to 240fps, it's recommended to pair this monitor with a graphics card such as the GeForce RTX 4070 or better. For optimal performance, especially in demanding titles, consider a high-end GPU like the RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090, or RX 7900XTX.
