Dell's Presidents' Day Sale is showcasing an incredible deal on the Alienware m16 R2 RTX 4060 gaming laptop, now available for just $1,299.99 after a $400 instant discount. This price is exceptional for a laptop of this caliber, especially considering it's powered by the RTX 4060 GPU and upgraded with the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor. Alienware's m16 R2, released in 2024 as the second generation model, stands out for its superior build quality, top-tier gaming performance, and affordability. Notably, it's 14% lighter and more compact than its predecessor, yet maintains high performance standards.
Originally priced at $1,699.99, now save 24% and get it for $1,299.99 at Alienware. This model boasts a 16" 2560x1600 QHD+ display, a 14th gen Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, a Meteor Lake CPU, offers a Turbo Boost up to 5.1GHz with 16 cores, delivering impressive gaming and workstation performance with improved energy efficiency, leading to less heat and longer battery life.
The RTX 4060 GPU, with a 115W TGP (140W with dynamic boost), ensures robust gaming performance, capable of running most games at 60fps on its native 2560x1600 resolution. You might need to adjust settings for the most demanding titles, but the GPU's support for DLSS 3.0 enhances performance in compatible games, ensuring smooth gameplay.
For those seeking even better performance, upgrading to the RTX 4070 GPU is available for an additional $200. This model, priced at $1,899.99 and now $1,499.99 after a 21% discount, comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor. At QHD+ resolution, the performance bottleneck shifts to the GPU, allowing for higher framerates or settings. This upgrade is ideal for gamers who prioritize top-notch gaming performance.
