The Alienware AW3225QF, unveiled at CES 2024, is Dell's unique offering that marries a 4K resolution with an OLED panel. It leverages Samsung's QD OLED technology, which offers superior brightness compared to traditional OLEDs while preserving the near-infinite response time, contrast ratio, and black levels. This monitor is HDR True Black 400 certified, capable of reaching up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also features a 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamut and comes factory-calibrated. Additional specifications include a 1700R curve, a 240Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync certification.
In terms of connectivity, the AW3225QF is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC) and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, all supporting 4K at up to 240Hz. It also includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for peripherals and a USB Type-C port for charging. Dell stands behind this monitor with a three-year warranty that includes burn-in protection.
Keep in mind that to fully enjoy a 4K monitor, you'll need a robust GPU. 4K resolution boasts 2.25 times more pixels than QHD; for smooth gameplay at up to 240fps, you'll need at least a GeForce RTX 4070. If your setup includes a powerhouse like an RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090, or RX 7900XTX, this monitor will be the perfect match.
