Unfortunately for the gamer, Sweeney’s reply was short and to the point, stating only that the release in question won't happen, offering no additional comments. So, the disappointed user will have to go for plan B: they shared an intention to buy it on Xbox.

Alan Wake 2 stands out from most Epic Games Store exclusives because Epic Games not only published the horror title but also co-financed its development alongside Remedy. Remedy stated that the sales of Alan Wake 2 were in line with business forecasts and the studio was happy with this collaboration.
