Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
Before you start adding friends, it's important to know that *Marvel Rivals* currently does not support cross-progression or cross-play. This means you can't add players from different platforms. However, the developers have announced that these features will be added in future updates, so keep an eye out for that.
To add friends, launch the game and locate the add friends icon in the top corner, right next to your player profile. Click on it, and you'll see a list of players you've recently played with. Simply click on any player to send them a friend request.
If you know the username of the person you want to add, you can use the search bar. Enter their username, hit the Enter key, and then add them from the search results. Once your friend request is accepted, they'll appear in your friends list, ready for you to team up with.
How to Play With Friends
With your friends list populated, you're ready to jump into matches together. Click on the friends list icon in the top right corner of the screen, find the friend you want to play with, select their username, and send them an invitation to join your game. Once they accept, you can queue for quick play or Competitive matches and enjoy the game together.
If you're playing on a console, friends you've added at the system level will automatically appear in your *Marvel Rivals* friends list. This makes it even easier to invite and play with them directly from the game.
