The 2025 Oscar nominations for the 97th Academy Awards have been announced, and Emilia Pérez is leading the pack with an impressive 13 nominations, setting a new record for a non-English language film. The nominations were unveiled by Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang during a live presentation on the Oscars YouTube channel on January 23. Jacques Audiard's Spanish crime thriller, Emilia Pérez, secured nods in major categories such as Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Lead Actress, with Karla Sofía Gascón being recognized for her performance.

Following closely behind, both Wicked and The Brutalist earned 10 nominations each, while Conclave and A Complete Unknown each received eight nominations.
