Become a Road Guard and help make our roads safer!
Launched in 2016, "Guardians of the Road - A Shared Responsibility" aims to promote road safety awareness and encourage cautious driving. Since January 1, 2023, the "Safe Path" association has been managing this program.
Anyone aged 18 or older can install the "Road Guards" app and begin reporting traffic violations.
The app is quick and simple to use—just activate it before driving. When witnessing a violation, trigger the reporting feature either by voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically capture and document the incident.
Reports are sent to a volunteer-run control center staffed by experienced traffic monitors. After review, offenders receive a "Notice of Violation" with video evidence. For severe offenses, reports are escalated to law enforcement.
