Conquer the Hexagon! A Multiplayer .io Territory Game

Hexanaut.io (or simply Hexanaut) is a captivating .io game centered around territorial domination. Expand your realm by strategically drawing lines, but beware—cutting your own line or being cut by another player means starting over. Scattered across the map are powerful totems offering significant advantages. How much territory can you claim? Test your skills in this addictive conquest game!

Gameplay Instructions:

Use your mouse to navigate the map. Extend your territory by drawing a line, claiming new hexagons. Returning to your original territory closes the loop, securing all enclosed tiles.

However, venturing outside your territory is risky. If another player intercepts your line, they'll cut you off, forcing you to begin again.

Your goal is to capture 20% of the map to become a Hexanaut. Maintaining this control for two minutes secures victory! Important: Elimination while another player holds the Hexanaut title results in game over.

Conquer the Totems:

Five unique totems enhance your gameplay:

• Spreading Totem: Directly expands your territory by emitting lasers that capture tiles. Especially helpful in the early stages.

• Speed Totem: Grants a 5% speed boost. Accumulating multiple totems significantly increases your agility.

• Teleporting Gate: Enables instant transportation across your territory, saving valuable time and allowing for strategic flanking maneuvers against opponents.

• Slowing Totem: Creates a zone that drastically slows down other players. Use this advantage to eliminate slowed opponents. Conversely, avoid enemy slowing totems.

• Spy Dish: Reveals the territories of all other players, a crucial advantage for defending against attacks on your larger domains.

Multiplayer Aspect:

Hexanaut utilizes a blend of human and AI players. Large lobbies are maintained by incorporating bots that mimic human behavior, ensuring quick game starts without extensive wait times.
