This app, ELM327 Identifier, helps determine the true version of your ELM327 adapter. Many counterfeit adapters falsely claim compatibility. The app tests nearly all available AT commands, comparing results against the official ELM327 datasheet to quickly verify authenticity. It checks 114 commands, excluding those needing a car connection with a specific protocol.

To use it, connect your ELM327 adapter to your Android device, launch the app, and tap "CONNECT." The scan begins automatically, displaying results onscreen. You can save these results for later reference. Note: a fake adapter doesn't automatically mean it won't function with your applications.
