New Mercenaries Troop System Unveiled in Age of Empires Mobile

The legendary strategy franchise continues to evolve with Age of Empires Mobile introducing its exciting new Mercenaries System, empowering players with greater control and tactical depth over their armies.

At Level 26, players gain access to the Mercenary Camp, where they can begin contracting and recruiting elite mercenary units. Once recruited, players can unlock and enhance unique technologies specifically designed for these formidable warriors.

Each mercenary unit brings a distinct set of specialized abilities, enhancing your strategic options on the battlefield:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Increases the damage of all hero skills in the army by [2%]
• After troops deal skill damage, all incoming damage taken by your forces is reduced by [3.5%] for [3] seconds

Swiss Pikeman:

• Boosts the chance of triggering hero pursuit/active skills for all troops by [1%]
• Reduces all damage received by troops by [2%]

Korean Archer:

• Increases the chance of triggering hero pursuit/active skills for all troops by [1%]
• Reduces all damage received by troops by [2%]

Players can obtain their first set of mercenaries at no cost by completing a brand-new in-game event, now live alongside the system launch.
